Australia offers two primary pathways into medicine:

A. Undergraduate Entry (Direct Entry)

  1. Eligibility: High school graduates.

  2. Duration: Typically 5–6 years.

  3. Assessment Components:

    1. Academic Performance: ATAR, IB, or equivalent.

    2. UCAT ANZ: Required by most programs.

    3. Interview: MMI or panel format.

B. Guaranteed-Entry Postgraduate Pathways
